Tips on using Swagbucks to get free diapers

I have gotten several cloth diapers for free now using my Swagbucks so I thought I would share.

Just tonight I cashed in some Swag to buy myself a Thirsties Prefold to try out (I am on a MAD HUNT for the softest prefold).

What else have I gotten for free? A Fuzzibunz pocket diaper, a GroVia AIO, Snappis, and a few others.
I cash in 450 Swagbucks for a $5 Amazon gift card OR 700 Swagbucks for Paypal credit (hint: that means you can buy used diapers too!)


But I wanted to share a few tips I learned:
First of all, what is swagbucks? Basically it is a toolbar that you download and you do your internet searches through that. You get rewarded Swagbucks randomly for different searches that you do.

When they reward you
I have found that they normally reward you once in the morning and once in the evening. I usually don't win if I have done 20 searches in an hour. What I normally do is if I am on the phone with someone, I just keep searching for random stuff because I am fidgety.

It's a crappy search engine, only use it until you get a reward or you will give up on it fast
I don't always use it as my main search engine. It is fueled by advertisers, so I feel like the first five search results are kind of crappy. So once I get my reward for the morning/evening, I then just use google.
As far as the searching is concerned, I am not obsessed. If I am bored online, I do it. If I remember to search with it, I do. But I am not going crazy.

Sc-s.com
I subscribe to sc-s.com where they let you know when a new code is up. You can enter in this code and get a few extra bucks. I don't go crazy with this either. If I see there is a code, and I have a sec, I do it.

Couponing
If I remember, I print my coupons from there. On the swabucks website you can print up the same Smartsource coupons that you would print up through the regular couponing website. But by going through here you get 10 or so swagbucks for each coupon. I don't do this much, I should do it more!

Referrals
I asked my family members and friends to help me buy diapers for my babies by doing swagbucks. They all were really helpful in doing this. My eighty-one year old Grandma has racked up over 1,000 swagbucks! For referrals, for every swagbuck they earn, you get one too (until they reach 1,000). I don't have many referrals (under 10), but just today I logged on and found that I had earned 300 swagbucks just by doing nothing (It takes 450 swagbucks to get $5 in Amazon gift cards).

Fridays
If you don't use swagbucks throughout the week, try to at least get online on a Friday. On those days they reward more. 

How much do you get?
So how often do I cash in? About every other week I get a $5 swagcard. So let's say you just found out you were pregnant.....that means if you do this you could get $100 worth of diapers before the baby is even born!
